Edward - Ready for adoption

EDWARD is a handsome, short-haired, solid black NEUTERED young adult.  He has a sleek, lean build and is just over 9 pounds of solid muscle. Edward is active and playful––a very interactive cat with people.  He is super-friendly, loves attention and would make a lively addition to an active family.

We’ve been told that Edward was an outdoor cat before he was brought to the shelter, but since he has learned to enjoy the comforts of being in a large communal room, he may decide that living as an indoor-outdoor kitty is the lifestyle best suited for him. However, before Edward is allowed to go outdoors in his new home, he will need to be confined––indoors or in an enclosed, ventilated outdoor shelter — for the first two or three weeks, or he will likely take off like a shot.  No bad luck about this black cat — he will be a lucky choice for his new family!

Please use EDWARD’s intake number (AO46489) when making inquiries at the shelter.

All cats available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FELV.  All cats adopted at the shelter will be microchipped.

All unaltered cats must be spayed or neutered before they can go home with you.
