Greta - Ready for adoption

GRETA is a beautiful cloud-soft, long-haired gray tabby SPAYED young adult. A Good Samaritan found her and brought her to a local vet thinking she might have had an injured back leg, but medical examination found nothing wrong and at the shelter she is walking just fine.

Greta is very affectionate, loves attention and loves to be brushed––which will be necessary with her gorgeous, long-haired coat. She is curious, still has some kitten playfulness and loves to chase a ball or play with a “feather on a string” toy.

Greta will be a wonderful companion or family cat. She has potential for being a lap cat, but right now she is a “sit beside you” cat. Greta lives in a communal room. She peacefully co-exists with other cats, is not at all aggressive, but prefers not to interact with them. She is spayed and chipped and just waiting for a home.

Please use GRETA’s intake number (AO47365) when making inquiries at the shelter.

All cats available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FELV. All cats adopted at the shelter will be microchipped. All unaltered cats must be spayed or neutered before they can go home with you.
