Harvey - Ready for adoption

HARVEY is a handsome orange tabby with pale green eyes and is an impressive 12 pounds. He is friendly and enjoys pets and ear scratches, but right now he is rather reserved –– not a “hold me” cat. Harvey arrived at the shelter as a friendly and very gentle stray, but was severely dehydrated. After getting fluids and medicine, he now associates humans with poking, prodding and pills. Harvey is now in good health and ready for a second chance. You can tell that he really wants to trust people again, but right now he needs a patient, cat-savvy person or family who can help him overcome his temporary shyness. After he is neutered, Harvey will be able to go home with you.

Please use HARVEY’s intake number (AO46642) when making inquiries at the shelter.

All cats available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FELV. All cats adopted at the shelter will be microchipped. All unaltered cats must be spayed or neutered before they can go home with you.
