Maddie - Ready for adoption

MADDIE is a beautiful creamy tan and white SPAYED adult, looking for love and a lap. She is a big gal at just over 11 pounds. Although she is a senior citizen, she is young at heart and does not look her age. She is very sweet, loves people, loves attention and loves to be brushed. Maddie has a gentle, quiet personality but is not fond of young children or other cats. Maddie is looking for a home where she will be the only kitty and will be cared for by adults and possibly older cat-savvy children. At the shelter we discovered that Maddie is diabetic and needs a relatively inexpensive pill twice a day. Giving Maddie her medication is not a problem because she eagerly eats her pill when it is presented to her in a “pill pocket.” Since Maddie is already spayed, she can go her new home with minimal delay.

Please use MADDIE’s intake number (AO47906) when making inquiries at the shelter.

All cats available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FELV. All cats adopted at the shelter will be microchipped.  All unaltered cats must be spayed or neutered before they can go home with you.
