Sammie - Ready for adoption
SAMMIE is looking for a lap! Sammie is a super friendly short-haired senior, black with a white patch of fur on his belly. His original owner passed away and the woman who inherited him said Sammie did not get along with her own cats.
Poor Sammie arrived at the shelter in pretty rough shape. He had dental disease, was very underweight and his coat was a mess, probably because he had trouble eating. Sammy had several teeth removed and is left with a long snaggletooth in front and a few other teeth. Sammie is still thin, but is now gaining weight. He has a hearty appetite––he loves his canned flakes or shreds in gravy––and his coat has really improved.
Sammie has a super loud meow–– which he uses occasionally to let you know he would like some attention––and can be a real chatterbox. His ideal home would be with a fellow senior where he can sit on a lap and tell someone his life story––and he has a lot to say––and listen to someone else’s story while being petted.
Sammie eats only canned food and should stay indoors. He is already neutered and just waiting to go home with the right person.
