Scotty - Ready for adoption

SCOTTY is a handsome orange tabby and white gentleman, almost 13 pounds of the nicest cat you will ever meet. He has a calm, mellow personality and would really, really like to be your friend. When he first meets someone he does not know, he is somewhat reserved, but he warms up quickly when you gently pet him. Scotty is a budding conversationalist––when he gets to know you, he will begin to tell you his life story. Scotty is at the shelter because his family moved out of state and could not take him. He lives in a communal room and gets along with other friendly cats, but his previous caretakers said that he does not care for dogs. He arrived already neutered, so he is ready to go home with his new family.

Please use SCOTTY’s intake number (AO46384) when making inquiries at the shelter.

All cats available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccines and
tested negative for FIV/FELV. All cats adopted at the shelter will be microchipped. All unaltered cats must be spayed or neutered before they can go home with you.
