Socks - Ready for adoption

Socks was a little black-and-white baby when he arrived at the shelter last fall with his momma, and was too young to be adopted. Because of the shelter’s ringworm problem at that time, he spent a long time in isolation with just his momma for company. His momma got adopted and now Socks needs a home of his own, too. He is very shy and needs a lot of cuddles to bring him out of his shell. Socks is not at all aggressive––in fact, he is very gentle when you hold him. He will do best with an experienced cat owner in a calm household who will give him consistent loving attention. Socks is already NEUTERED and ready to go home with someone special.

All cats available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FELV. All cats adopted at the shelter will be microchipped. All unaltered cats must be spayed or neutered before they can go home with you.

Please use SOCKS’ intake number (AO44490) when making inquiries at the shelter.
