Tiger Lily - Ready for adoption

Calling all tortoiseshell aficionados! TIGER LILY is an adorable short-haired tortie SPAYED junior with dazzling green eyes. She is very, very sweet and very gentle. When she arrived at the shelter, she was a friendly, outgoing kitty, but shelter life does not seem to agree with her. Even though she is living in a communal room with other friendly kitties, she has become a bit withdrawn. Tiger Lily will not run up to you when you enter her room––she wants you to make the first move. After you slowly approach her, pick her up and talk softly to her, she melts in your arms and softly purrs––she just loves to be cuddled. Tiger Lily is very gentle and has a low-key personality. She needs an easy-going home, with no children who are too exuberant for her quiet nature. With consistent, loving attention she should soon return to her former self––friendly, confident and outgoing. Since Tiger Lily is already spayed, the waiting time for her to go home with you is minimal.

Please use TIGER LILY’s intake number (AO47000) when making inquiries at the shelter.

All cats available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FELV. All cats adopted at the shelter will be microchipped. All unaltered cats must be spayed or neutered before they can go home with you.
