Scooby is a two- to three-year-old male Great Dane, weighing in at a much-too-thin 125 pounds (should be 150 or more). His health is fine and he simply needs good nourishment to get back into top form.
Scooby really enjoyed his van ride when we transferred him here from our friends at Tuolumne County Animal Control, and was an excellent passenger. This Scooby will dig cruisin’ in his owner’s Mystery Machine, whether you have a Prius or an SUV.
Scooby is doing a bit of marking, but neutering should hopefully help stop that. We’d recommend using a “belly band” in the house until he’s earned your trust. He is good with other dogs. We do not have a history on whether he’s lived with cats, though this is a breed known for being sweet to all critters.
Scooby asked us to add a little P.S. “You must love slobber. I’m a slobbery dude, and it’s part of my
charm. If you can’t deal with the drool, that’s a big RUH-ROH!’
Meet this magnificent gentle giant at our Angels Camp adoption center, open Wednesday through Saturday from 11-5.
