Kittens and Juniors Available For Adoption
Our kitten directory lists young cats (under one year of age) available from the Calaveras Humane Society. At the bottom of this page, you'll also find courtesy postings of cats available from our friends at Calaveras County Animal Services, the area's municipal animal shelter.
Kittens Sheltered By Calaveras Humane Society
We have oodles of available kittens just waiting to meet you! They come and go quickly, and often don’t make it onto our website. Come on down and pay us a visit! Most are spayed/neutered and ready to go home with you the same day you adopt.

About Adopting A Kitten From CHS
Kittens are available for adoption during our regular business hours. We have a “get acquainted room” for you to spend time with any kittens you are considering adopting.
Our kitten adoption fee is $50.
In addition to the fabulous felines in our Angels Camp shelter, we also have wonderful cats (and sometimes kittens) available for adoption most Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at our thrift store adoption center in Arnold. Please pay us a visit and possibly meet the cat or kitten of your dreams!
Want to know which cats and kittens we’ll be featuring at our thrift store adoption center each week? Like and follow our Facebook page, where we post most Thursdays about available cats and kittens for the week.
In addition to the regular medical services we provide, all kittens adopted from your Calaveras Humane Society come with a voucher good for a free “well pet” exam at participating veterinary hospitals.
What Health Services Do The Cats Receive?
- All kittens available for adoption are up-to-date on their routine vaccines.
- All pets will be microchipped.
