Clover was discovered inside a closet in a vacant building, keeping her newborn kittens warm, earlier this spring. We placed her in one of our volunteer foster homes to raise her babies, and she was an exemplary mother.
Now that Clover’s kittens are old enough to be adopted, it is time for this hardworking young mama (less than a year old herself!) to find a home of her very own.
Clover will need a cat-savvy adopter. She’s sweet and affectionate and entertaining…and will abruptly rear back and slap you when she decides she’s had enough petting. And don’t even think about touching her near her tail (because the net result will be: SLAPPETY SLAP SLAP, and maybe one more SLAP just for good measure).
If you’re a cat person, you’ve had or known a kitty like Clover. She is the queen and her opinion rules. Period. Clover is now considering applications from supplicants and worshippers who will treat her like the royalty she is. Could you be the one to become her minion?
