We’ll be honest with you: the COVID-19 situation has the potential to be financially devastating to us as an organization. Our overall expenses haven’t lowered (in fact, some of our costs are up thanks to the pandemic), but our regular donation stream has virtually disappeared. We’re uncertain when or if things will rebound or whether we’ll continue to struggle once businesses are reopened in our part of the state.
As you know, we love our community, and we love to help! From our Pet Food Bank to our Feral Feline Program to our Free Pets for Veterans adoptions, from our spay/neuter assistance vouchers to our Senior Veterinary Assistance program, our primary goal is to make life better for the pets and people of Calaveras.
