Meet JERICA, a beautiful short-haired orange tabby who is about 2 years old.

Jerica arrived at the shelter following her owners eviction and gave birth to four kittens a few days later. The sweet momma and kittens were raised in a wonderful foster home and returned to the shelter when the kittens were old enough to be adopted. Jerica was an excellent momma and now that her adorable kittens have been adopted, she is looking for a home of her own.

With her calm, loving personality she will be a wonderful companion or family cat. She is super sweet, gentle, loves attention and still has a bit of kitten playfulness in her. Jerica has been an indoors kitty all her life and does not know how to avoid the dangers of the outside world so she should live indoors only. She had dental surgery recently and does not have many teeth left so she must be fed canned food, along with a bit of dry food, every day. Since Jerica is already spayed, she can go home with you right away.

Please use JERICA’s intake number (A056168) when making inquiries at the shelter.

All cats available for adoption at Calaveras County Animal Services are up-to-date on their routine vaccinations will be microchipped.  All unaltered cats must be spayed or neutered before they can go home with you.
