Six-month-old cutiepie Johnny is a Corgi mix and weighs about 23 pounds. He has a bit more growing to do, so will be a (very short) medium/small adult.
Johnny was quite shy when he arrived in our care, and has spent the last couple weeks in a foster home to let him decompress and to assess his needs. His foster mom reports that he is a happy, playful, and very enjoyable companion. He continues to be fearful of men, however, so either needs a woman-only household or one that also contains a very patient and understanding guy.
Johnny might not be the best choice for households with very young children, or kids who aren’t dog-savvy. (If pushed beyond his comfort zone, there’s a possibility he may nip.) He should become more confident in his new home as he grows to trust his people.
This incredibly handsome fella will make a delightful buddy in the right environment. Come on by and meet him today!
