Shepherd mix/Husky mix Mater (does that make him a “Shepsky”?) was a transfer to us from another shelter. He is incredibly friendly and sweet. New people? LOVES them. Treats? LOVES them. Belly rubs? You guessed it — he LOVES them. He seems to do fine with other dogs.
Mater would fit well in a variety of different households. He could definitely use more exercise than he’s likely gotten in the past, as his current figure can best be described as “stylishly stout.”
