Quincy

Meet QUINCY, a fabulous short-haired black adult who is about 5 years old. Quincy was found with a large leg wound that had scabbed over and become badly infected so a good Samaritan brought him to the shelter. His leg has now healed and he is ready and waiting for a new home.

Quincy is a BIG kitty––15+ pounds––with a BIG personality.  He is a total lover boy and a glutton for pets––when given a choice between treats or pets, he always chooses being petted. He adores attention, especially enjoys head and ear scratches, and will follow you around a room like a puppy.

Quincy is an alpha cat. He knows what he wants, which is usually not to be ignored when he wants attention. He will do well in a household where humans and older children will appreciate his wonderful personality, pay attention to his body language and give him the love and attention he needs and deserves. Since Quincy is already neutered, he is ready to go home with you right away.

Please use QUINCY’s intake number (A057155) when making inquiries at the shelter.

All cats available for adoption at Calaveras County Animal Services are up-to-date on their routine vaccinations will be microchipped.  All unaltered cats must be spayed or neutered before they can go home with you.
