Cats

Calaveras Humane Society Cat Directory

Our cat directory lists kittens and adult felines available for adoption. Find out about their personalities, age, history, and when they’ll be ready for a new home.

You may also find courtesy postings of cats available from our friends at Calaveras County Animal Services, our area’s municipal animal shelter. We often work in cooperation with them.

Thank you from the itty bitty kitties

No Cats Listed?

It’s possible you won’t find any animals listed. It could be there are no pets available or it could be there are so many pets, we haven’t had time to enter them here!

When in doubt, please give us a call at  (209) 736 – 9417 to check.

What Health Services Do The Pets Receive?

All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped and dewormed, and are treated for fleas.

Cats and kittens come with a voucher good for a free ‘well pet’ exam at participating veterinary hospitals and a free starter bag of the same food they’ve been eating while in our care.

How To Adopt A Pet

Most adoptable animals in our shelter can be seen in our online directories. Some are adopted extremely quickly and their photos may not be posted.

Please pay us a visit and possibly meet the cat or kitten of your dreams!

We also list animals in foster homes. We occasionally list animals from other organizations as a courtesy.
Each pet listing will mention where the animal is located, so make note of the specific contact information.
Please note that we cannot take holds on animals over the phone or by email. You must come to our adoption center to meet and adopt our pets.

Potential adopters must be 18 or older.
