During this very scary time of rampant wildfires, please remember: If asked to evacuate, BRING YOUR PETS WITH YOU.
Even if you are lucky enough to have your home survive, you may not be allowed back into the area for days, and sometimes weeks, after the incident, and communicating to animal rescue volunteers that your home has pets in it can be challenging at best.
Many evacuation shelters now allow pets or can refer you to one that does. Keep the family together, including the four-legged members. ❤️🐾
