A MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT directly from the North Pole!
Gus, our shelter elf, brings exciting news straight from Santa: We can hold your adopted kitten or puppy for Christmas Eve pickup, AND we’re offering a special Christmas Eve delivery program for adopted pets!
Here’s the scoop:
- Any puppy or kitten adopted between now and December 23 can be boarded with us (for an additional fee, payable at the time of adoption), and then picked up by you on Saturday, December 24 between 10 a.m. and noon. (A great way to surprise the kids with the new addition to the family!)
- We are also offering Christmas Eve delivery of your new kitty or pup within Calaveras County, Bear Valley, and select portions of Tuolumne County. A second additional fee applies, also payable at the time of adoption. One of our staffers will hand-deliver your new pet on the afternoon of December 24 at a prearranged time, complete with adorable extras like the classic (and oh-so-photo-worthy) bow around the neck.
We have EIGHT absolutely scrumptious kittens available (blue ones, orange ones, black and white, and more). Puppy Holly is hoping for a holiday home of her own (see our website for photos and info on this sweetie).
And, if our upcoming scheduled intakes go as planned, we’ll have two separate groups of puppies for adoption next Thursday (three scruffly small mixed breeds and three shaggy and adorable medium-sized mixes). No more info available on these at this time — stay tuned for next week’s posts.
We’re offering all the excitement and joy of that once-in-a-lifetime “new pet on Christmas” moment, with an extra-wonderful cherry on top: Your puppy or kitten was ADOPTED from the Calaveras Humane Society. Santa approves!
