Willow was adopted from us as a puppy a little over two years ago. We’re not sure what happened in the interim, but Willow was found living as a stray at the Caltrans maintenance station in Camp Connell. The staff were able to bring her to Calaveras County Animal Services, where her microchip was scanned. All attempts to contact her previous owners were unsuccessful.
We can’t emphasize enough how sweet and gentle Willow is. She can be a bit shy when you first meet her, but quickly warms up. She adores playing with other dogs in our care and is very appropriate with cats as well.
We called Willow an Anatolian mix as a puppy, but we can’t recall what details were given to us to lead us to that conclusion. She’s 70 pounds and very tall.
