Introducing beautiful Boston boy Bruno!
Bruno is a brown/red and white Boston Terrier, and he’s a big fella at 32 pounds. He’s five years old and has lived exclusively outdoors the last four years before coming into our care.
As a result, Bruno is a bit of a work in progress. He appears to be housetrained but he does mark inside the house. We have ordered some “belly bands” (they haven’t arrived yet) that we will give his adopter(s) to help with training on this issue. We just had him neutered, which should help with this as well.
Bruno is very energetic (which is typical of his breed), and doesn’t have the best manners. We placed him into foster care for about a week to help him acclimate. What we learned: He’s a very cute Tasmanian devil. With someone who’s devoted to his training, we are certain he will become an excellent roommate and family member.
Bruno has no history of having lived with cats or other dogs. He was snarky with the foster home’s resident dog but stopped after a day or so. We think a cat-free home would be ideal.
Bruno will resource guard things he finds valuable, and has snapped when someone reached for his toy or snack. As a result, a home without kiddos is the most suitable situation for him.
