Tucker

Handsome Tucker is 10 months old. Our favorite part of his coloring is the saucy little beauty mark to the right of his nose. Tucker is gorgeous — and he likes to pose, in a very Zoolander fashion. The closeup photo is his version of Blue Steel, and in the centerfold pic, he’s absolutely going […]

Cupid

Cupid is an all-white 14-pound chihuahua mix. He’s super-snuggly and very outgoing and friendly. We think he’d do well in a wide variety of home environments. He has kept his suite immaculate, so might be housetrained (but we can never guarantee!). Cupid is young and can of course be playful, but he also really digs […]

Rupert

Beware! Rupert’s happiness is contagious! Don’t say we didn’t warn you. This absolutely adorable beagle-somethin’-somethin’ (just our best guess) is right around a year old. He weighs 21 pounds, which means he can absolutely squeeze onto your lap. As you can see here, he knows his way around a sofa pretty darn well. Rupert greets […]

Hulk

ADOPTED 1/20  If you wanted a hippopotamus for Christmas, but didn’t get one, you’re in luck! Hulk just might be your guy. This 83-pound American Bulldog stands only 24 inches (a mere two feet!) at the shoulders. Hulk is low, yo. Check out that profile pic and try to tell us you’re not totally vibing […]

Nova

ADOPTED 1/19  Nova is nine weeks old. She was signed over to a Calaveras County Animal Services officer in the field (meaning directly from a home, and not at their shelter). She then came straight to our adoption center. We’re told that mom was a petite Boxer mix, and it looks like dad was likely […]

Tony and Hobbs

Brothers Tony and Hobbs are a great pair. They’re five months old, already neutered, and completely ready to fill your home with fun and frolic. Tony (the orange and white guy) is super-outgoing and greets everyone like a long-lost friend. Hobbs is a bit more reserved at first meeting but warms up very quickly. We […]

Nico

Nico is a late-season kitten who’s 16 weeks old. He arrived in our care with his brothers, BODHI and RORY. Nico is irresistible. He’s sweet and playful and enjoys the company of other kittens.

Rory

Rory is about 16 weeks old. He’s an orange tabby male (neutered), and you probably know that means he’s a lovable doofus, in the best way. Rory would fit beautifully into almost any home environment. Rory’s brothers are NICO and BODHI.

North

Six-month-old North offers a perfect opportunity to have a “house panther” in your life. She has a wonderful personality (very common in black cats!) and is simply delightful. North would love to be adopted with her sister, Star, though it’s not required.

Bodhi

Bodhi is four months old. He’s exactly what an orange boy should be: sweet, snuggly, and not too swift. (We mean that in the most loving way. The joke is that two or more orange tabbies in a home share one brain cell between them.) Bodhi is neutered and can go directly home when adopted.
