The Calaveras Humane Society has been serving our community since 1978.
Exactly five years ago, we opened our first standalone adoption center in Angels Camp. We can’t believe how quickly those five years flew by!
Since our center’s opening, we have placed more than 2,150 dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens into loving homes. Pet adoption is the very heart of what we do, and nothing makes us happier than helping animals in need of love find kind people with love to give them.
In addition to adoptions, we provide a wide variety of programs and services for both pets and people. We do our very best to help not only homeless animals, but the ones that already have families and need a little assistance to remain where they are.
We’re very excited about an upcoming announcement we’ll be making in the next month. We have something positively spectacular around the corner that will greatly benefit our community. Stay tuned!
