Nine-week-old Juniper and her brother Sage were transferred to us at five weeks of age from another shelter. There was no mama dog on the scene. Our best guess is that they are lab/shepherd mixes.
They’ve been together in one of our wonderful foster homes ever since, growing big enough and old enough for adoption.
The first thing you notice about Juniper is her eyes. They’re absolutely striking, and though puppies’ eyes darken naturally as they grow, they will likely remain a very unique shade of green. We have no idea what breed(s) in her DNA may have contributed to this, but we’re certainly not complaining! It’s a stunning feature.
Juniper is a female, and based on her current weight, we predict an adult weight of 50-ish pounds for this cutie. She is everything you could hope to find in a puppy: sweet, playful, friendly, and ready to learn All The Things.
