Keltie was in a foster home for a couple weeks because she was underweight when she arrived in our care. There’s nothing medically wrong, and she’s gaining beautifully with a good, consistent diet. Sadly, it appears her thinness was caused by lack of food.
What is this little cutie? We see some dachshund, perhaps some chihuahua, and maybe a splash o’ pittie for good measure.
At 12 weeks old, Keltie weighs 8.8 pounds, suggesting an adult size of about 38 pounds.
Keltie is squiggly and happy and playful. She’ll make an outstanding companion for a lucky family.
