We’re delighted that our shelter and adoption center falls into the category of businesses that are now allowed to re-open in our county!
The following will explain how things will look at our organization:
- We will officially reopen on Wednesday, May 20.
- Our temporary hours of operation will be Wednesday through Sunday, 12:00-3:00 p.m.
- Face masks will be required for entry. We care deeply about the safety of our staff and the public. We will have single-use face masks available for those who don’t bring their own.
- In order to maintain required social distancing, we will limit the number of people allowed inside our building at one time. Please be prepared to wait outside until the numbers permit us to let you in.
- It will take a while before we have a variety of adoptable animals available. Please keep an eye on our social media posts and our website to see our new arrivals.
- In order to best serve everyone, we appreciate if visitors during our first weeks of reopening have specific business to conduct (obtaining a spay/neuter voucher, picking up from our Pet Food Bank, making a donation, etc.) as opposed to just wanting to “browse.” We’ll let you know when we’re better able to accommodate window shoppers. 😉
We’re very excited to be able to help pets in need find permanent loving homes once more. We’ll see you again beginning next Wednesday! ❤️🐾
