Shay (male) and Shy (female) are eight weeks old. They’ve spent the last couple weeks in one of our very best foster homes, where they were exposed to gentle kiddos, other dogs, and cats — a truly great socialization opportunity!
It’s anyone’s guess which breeds are in these pups’ DNA. We see some chihuahua, and possibly a bit of dachshund as well, but we can’t be certain, of course. We estimate an adult weight in the ballpark of 30 pounds for these nuggets. There are probably a whole bunch o’ breeds in their genes.
Shay and Shy are playful and squiggly-wiggly. They’re a bit overwhelmed at the moment, having just arrived back to our center after spending time in a home, but they’ll blossom in their new homes and be an absolute delight.
As a reminder, we do not place littermate puppies together.
