Sombra

Meet Sombra! Sombra (which means “shadow” in Spanish) is a delightful young adult gray tabby sweetie pie. She came to the shelter with injured back legs—likely from an accident—but fortunately, no bones were broken. After a few weeks of rest and care, Sombra has made an inspiring recovery. She is now up, active, and growing stronger every day.  She is endlessly playfuland affectionate and adores human attention—she has never met a person she didn’t love. Sombra’s favorite place is in your arms or sitting on your lap, gazing into your eyes and nuzzling your neck with pure contentment. The vet expects Sombra to keep improving and says she may make a full recovery, though she may favor one side when walking.  Because of her past injuries, Sombra will need to remain an indoor-only kitty and is ready to be a wonderful companion in a home where she will get a lot of love and attention.

Please use SOMBRA’s intake number (A059652) when making inquiries at the shelter.
