Sparrow

We like BIG MUTTS and we cannot lie!

Sparrow (yes, named for Captain Jack) is already 75 pounds at just seven months old. We expect an adult weight in the neighborhood of 90 for this great big tween.

Sparrow is smart, goofy, and incredibly lovable. He’s had a wonderful start with good, solid training, and knows sit, down, stay, wait, and much more. He’s housetrained (we never make guarantees, of course, but he’s been accident-free in our care).

What breed(s) is he? Your guess is as good as ours. We were told there’s some cattle dog and Anatolian in the woodpile, but only a DNA test can say for sure.

Sparrow is darn near perfect. His only issue? Small dogs get his prey drive goin’. He plays happily and very appropriately with medium and large dogs, however, and has lived with cats (he’s interested but knows they have razors in their feet). He also adores kiddos.

We’re unsure how he would be with chickens or other small animals, as he hasn’t been around them.

Sparrow loves his crate and sleeps quietly through the night as long as he’s near his people. Sparrow’s family will be lucky to have this gigantic gem.
