We just received some wonderful news from our friends at the Copperopolis Fire Protection District. Last year, your Calaveras Humane Society was able to provide pet oxygen mask kits to every fire department in the county. We were able to do this thanks to your generous donations.
Just this week, the Copper Fire Team was able to put those pet oxygen mask kits to good use to help revive two dogs, a Chihuahua and a larger dog. They were suffering from smoke inhalation after a mobile home fire.
