We had an absolute blast yesterday at our first-ever Drive-Thru Pet Food Bank. We met fabulous folks from virtually every town in Calaveras County and distributed a whopping 1,089 pounds of free dog and cat food — that’s more than half a ton!
We feel so great knowing that the people we met today won’t have to experience food insecurity when it comes to their pets, at least for a while. In fact, we’ve decided to do it all over again on Saturday, May 9. Same location, same times (at Spence Ranch Feed & Supply from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.). We’ll remind you here as the date approaches.
