Meet BERNIE, a sweet and gentle brown tabby, about 1.5 years old, who loves head rubs and ear scratches. She can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but once you approach her, she will show you just how affectionate she can be. Bernie enjoys the occasional play session with a cat wand, though she is more of a laid-back observer to what is going with other kitties in her communal room. She peacefully coexists with the other kitties but prefers not to initiate interactions and would be happy to be the only kitty in a household.
Bernie has limited vision in one eye, so she’ll need to live indoors only where she can feel safe and secure. If you’re looking for a calm, loving family or companion kitty who enjoys quiet moments and gentle attention, Bernie could be the perfect fit for your home. Since Bernie is already spayed, she is ready to go home with you right away.
Please use BERNIE’s intake number (A058113) when making inquiries at the shelter.
