Itty-bitty Churro (just 7 pounds and 18 months old) came to us as a former stray with no history.
This petite and sweet fellow is getting along beautifully with other dogs (he’s very playful with one of our puppies!), loves to be held, is a first-class lap warmer.
What is he? Why, he’s 100% scruffalump, of course.
We seriously have no true answer, just that he’s likely a mixture of tiny non-shedding breeds (poodle? Yorkie? Maltese?) and will require professional grooming every 6-8 weeks or so. Potential adopters should factor this ongoing expense into their pet care budget.
Churro has had his mats clipped and we’ve given him a bath, but he’s looking a bit rough at the moment. He has two healing wounds (one has a staple that will need to be removed in about 8-10 days) of unknown origin. In just a couple months, this little dude is going to be incredibly handsome.
Churro’s sweater, handmade just for him by one of our staffers, is included in his adoption.
