Derringer

Meet DERRINGER, a handsome gray and white kitty who is about 5 years old. Derringer is a big boy, about 12 pounds of muscle. Derringer is still figuring out how to fully embrace human affection. He can be a bit cautious when meeting newpeople, taking his time to check you out before deciding you are okay. But once he gets comfortable, he has moments of playfulness and enjoys chasing toys on a cat wand.

Derringer is content to peacefully co-exist with other cats, but he’d much rather be the only feline in the house, where he can soak up all the attention (and treats!). He is a treat-motivated kitty, so if you are willing to earn his trust with a little patience and some tasty snacks, he will be your best buddy in no time. Derringer would do best in a cat-savvy home with older children. He is looking for a family or individual who understands his need for space and his gradual approach to building bonds. Since Derringer is already neutered, he is ready to go home with you right away.

Please use DERRINGER’s intake number (A058112) when making inquiries at the shelter.
