Five-month-old Grizzly is a Yorkie (Yorkshire Terrier). He’s as sweet as he is cute — and that means he’s REALLY sweet, because as you can see, he’s way beyond adorable.
Available Thursday 12/15. Please read this entire post for complete information if you’d like to adopt.
We’re going to make Grizzly’s adoption appointment by phone rather than have folks lining up at our adoption center. (Please note: Grizzly is being neutered today and is not currently on the premises.)
If you would like to adopt, please leave us a voicemail beginning on Thursday, December 15 at 8:00 a.m.: 209-736-9417. Our voicemail system records the exact time a message is received. No early calls, please.
We will call back the first couple folks who leave voicemails (one adoption appointment and one backup). Please pick up if we call, or we’ll move along to the next person who left a voicemail.
You must be available to come in Thursday to complete the adoption. Grizzly can go directly home when adopted.
Grizzly’s adoption fee is the same as all puppies we place: $145. (ALL puppies are equally valuable in our eyes, and we don’t believe in charging a premium just because one happens to be a purebred.)
Keep in mind that Yorkies require professional grooming every 4-8 weeks as adults, and be aware that this will be a lifelong expense for his future owner.
Grizzly will be a medium size Yorkie when he’s full grown, in the neighborhood of 10-12 pounds or thereabouts (though this is just a guess).
We’re looking forward to seeing Grizzly celebrate his very first Christmas in the loving home where he’ll spend his life.
