Many thanks to Angels Camp resident and soon-to-be first grader Hadessa for having a lemonade stand to benefit the Calaveras Humane Society! She donated half her proceeds to us Wednesday, along with some first-rate artwork. Hadessa is pictured here with adoptable kitten Bobby. She says she wanted to give “because I love animals.”
