A big thank you to everyone who’s been patient as we eased back into things with reduced hours these last five weeks. We’re delighted to once again offer […]

Should You Spay Or Neuter Your Pets?

To spay or not to spay? It's not even a question.

Thanks in part to a generous grant from the BISSELL Pet Foundation, we are able to provide spay/neuter assistance vouchers to help with the cost of surgery for the pets of low-income residents.

Our First Year

Our first year in the new shelter

June 20 marked the official one-year anniversary of the opening of our Angels Camp shelter and adoption center. Contentment

Just a little furry hunk of adorableness to make your day brighter: Meet Joey. Joey is “milk drunk” after guzzling a bottle of formula. Let’s all try to enjoy our next good meal as much as Joey clearly enjoys his. ❤️🐾

Lets Slow Down!

Bear in roadway

As businesses begin to partially reopen, there will be more traffic on our streets and highways. Please remember that the wild critters have had MANY weeks to get used to and enjoy our roadways being quieter. Our bears, deer, rabbits, and others don’t understand that there will very abruptly be many more cars out there […]

Lets All Practice Kindness

Please remember that guide dogs for the blind haven’t been trained in social distancing, or in lining up to get into stores. If you see a guide dog leading its partner directly to the store entrance and not joining the line outside, he’s only doing what he’s been trained to do. They’re not being rude […]
